August 4 (2007 only)	Minerva Annual Fundraiser Dinner Special Event
The Minerva fire department and historic community center will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday August 4, 2007 at the Minerva Community Center ( Located on hiway 77 ) between Rockdale and Cameron. FRESH catfish dinner, will all the trimmings, also available smoked sausage plates, all dinners are only $7.00 each. Also a live auction at 1:00 p.m. followed by a raffle drawing at 3, raffle items this year include: Your choice of a shotgun or rifle from Academy in Temple * Value $300.00 * maybe exchanged for other in-store items, also in the raffle are the following: 27 inch flatsceen color television, IPOD, bicycle, $100 Wal-Mart gift certificate, and two $50.00 Wal-Mart certificates.
