I am researching my grandfather, John W. Williams who was born in Greenville, AL on October 2, 1871. to Charles Williams. I have a copy of his death certificate that lists him as being born in Greenville. He died in Pensacola, FL. Any help from your area would be appreciated.

Thanks for a good site. I am just beginning work on the Bush line in Butler County, AL. My Grandfather was Charles Robert Bush (b. 8/16/1873) of Searcy,AL; married Alice Alabama Rodgers of Greenville(2/19/1896). They had three children: Ruby (m. Walter A. Doriety); William Ernest (my father; married Anna (Annie) Lee Vaughn); and Erma (m. John Albert Rhodes.) Charles Robert was son of Robert Bush and Mary Whittle. Alice Rodgers was daughter of Jasper Rodgers and Elizabeth ______. I'd like to hear from others who know of this line. Thanks!
