Finding AL ancestors is exciting and fun for reasons I don't understand. I began looking for information to more accurately fill in my scrapbooking projects, and now the genealogy reseaarch has taken on a life of its own!

Thanks for all the hard word done by everyone before me. Maybe some day I'll have information to contribute, too.

Thank you for the numerous links and resources. I have located ancestors from the Jones, Grimes, Crutchfield and Marchman families of Dale/Coffee Counties of Alabama. Truly this website is a fabulous tool for geneaologists from all over the U.S.

My husband was with the OPD in 1976, we moved from PA to Ozark, Ala, my oldest child was just going on 3 yrs old, our son was born in Ozark. We just loved Ozark.. first time we were ever South, and we were so welcomed. I could never forget the love we found there, carried it with me forever. WE went to Bridlewood Meth. Church back then.. wonderful folks. Thankyou, Patty
