Comments:	My grandfather, Gilbert Edwin Waddell, was raised in Millport, Alabama. His parents were James Alexander & Sarah Jane Owens Waddell. His grandparents were Alexander Alvin & Sophfrona Cook Waddell & William Middleton & Margaret E. Holcomb Owens, James & Sallie Smith. All in the Millport area. Their church was Mt Carmel Primitive Baptist Church & the Mt Carmel Cemetery is directly across the street. I have several generations in this cemetery, including Smith, Owens, Cook, Mathis, McDaniel, Seay, & Waddell - Waddill. Any info. on any of these families are greatly appreciated. I have completed a cemetery survey of Mt. Carmel & would love stories to go with the headstones. Thanks! Mary Lou
