In the process of tracing my mothers' family name which is AGER, I have come across a few, some the same and a few slightly different spelling to yours. The interesting thing is that they are, or at least were, from the same village in Suffolk UK. That village is called Shudy Camps and is exactly on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk Borders. I have visited the village.
