I'm looking for the state of Germany that my original last name would be from; if that's possible. My last go back to either Baumgartner or Baumgardner. In my brief search thus far, I was told that the last name could also have roots in Bavaria. If you could offer any assistance I would be greatly appreciative. I want to get my Coat of Arms and the flag or some other symbol for whichever state my ancestors are from.
