I have been searching for my ancestors, the Burtons and the Dawsons. I keep weaving in and out and come back to the original page I found only a couple days ago.The Burtons were my fathers, mothers people.Virginia Belle was my grandmother,she married William Dawson.Emily was my great-grandmother.Florence Dawson married Samuel Tilden Burton.This is so exciting for me. Roots Web is a fascinating tool. I hope to encounter myBurton ancestors during the Colonial Era of North Carolina in counties Duplin.New Hanover, Pender, Onslow and neighboring areaas. I am especially interested in the Welsh Tract settlllement.

I am looking for: George & Mary Burton. They lived outside of Washington C.H. Ohio, in a small town called Moons. They had a daughter named
Armilda Burton: Born 03-04-1875.

She later married John Ringling. She changed her first name from Armilda Burton - to Mable Ringling.

Would like to have any information you may have.
