One thing I notice that is missing on all Geneology sites, is a record of prisons and/or prisoners. I was informed that my Great grandfather Charles Lyons was sent to prison at San Quinton but there is no was to verify this information. It would have been in the mid to late 1800's.

Is there somewhere to get this info?????
