"Copple" was my grandfather's name from Dix, Illinois.
"Martin" was my grandmother's name from West Frankfort,Ill
Their families were from New Madrid County, Missouri.
They were apparently married there.
I am trying to locate any names of relatives who served in the Civil War from either Illinois or Missouri.
I would be grateful for any info you can share with me on how to find a website or other info to locate Civil War info. Thank you
