I am trying to get information on a William Edward Cowan who was supposed to be from Ireland...
born there 21 Sept 1856 he married a Emma Evilsizer and had children and they later ended up in Chanute Ks. He lived to be 105 years old. I need as much help as I can get on this one???
Any one got clues????

I am looking for relatives of my Grandmother Mary Anne Reynolds who came from Lietrim Ireland in the early 1900's. The story was that her Catholic Church was burned along with her birth records. My Mom will be visiting Ireland soon and it would be great if we could find someone from the family if ***.

I am from the 'Canadian'Cowan 'Branch'. My great grandfather was, William James Cowan, from Co. lietrim, Ireland. He married Abigail Jinks, and they settled in the 'cedars', near Cherry Valley (Picton),Prince Edward Co.,Ontario. There son, Everett Nelson, was my grandfather. His son, also named Everett Nelson, is myfather. My name is Norman Clarence Cowan. I am looking for 'kin'. Thank you. RSVP/ASAP

Great site. Thank you. My great grandfather James H. Cowan is buried in the Cowan Cemetery ay Cyclone, Missouri. His father was David Cowan from Tennesse.

My great grandfather was William James Cowan, from Co. Leitrum, Ireland and Prince Edward CO., Ontario,Canada. His first wife was Ellen Donald and his second wife (my great grandmother),was Abigail Jinks,the daughter of Elijah Jinks and Hester Ferguson. Hester's father was Jonathan Ferguson.
