I bought a family Bible at a rummage sale in Charlottesville, Va. around 1968. It obviously is a record of the Dresser family of Temple, Maine. In it are a marriage record of Oliver Dresser and Dorcus Meitchell on Dec. 26, 1831, births (Oliver Dresser, April 11, 1805 in Temple, Maine), deaths and much more. I am daughter of Allan W. Dresser presently of Glastonbury Connecticut. He grew up in Bristol Connecticut. I presently reside in Jacksonville North Carolina, a wife of a Marine Edward Joseph Schneider originally of New Rochelle New York.
