I visited Okeechobee in May 2005 for the first time since I left in 1981. I was amazed at just how much the "cow town" had grown. I went to Okeechobee High 1976-77 in the 11th grade but moved back home to Nashville,TN to graduate in 1978. I am from Okeechobee now transplanted in north Alabama, been here sixteen years and when I found this site today it was like talking to Family again, I posted a message on the board and with-in a matter of two hours I had a reply. Good work Okeechobee, I love this site Abriel Pickering.
