Comments:	I am researching a James T Gaffney of ERIE< PA who was married apparently twice, 1) a Catherine ? who died 1875, #2 Alice Carlow who lived in Warren, PA. James was a Saloonkeeper in 1870 census of Erie, PA. In city directories 1889-1893 he was a grocerer and beer bottler. James and Alice had two daughters that never married, both parents died 1890 and 1896 and both girls were handed down to relaives. Mary Elizabeth born 1884 lived with her aunt Margaret Carlow Mullins in Warren in 1900, after 1905 she went to live with her aunt, Hannah Carlow Shean of Chicago, IL and she died in Chicago, IL in 1960. Alice Gaffney born 1887 lived with a couzin in Ashtabula , Conneaut twp of OHIO, I cannot make the surname out She worked for the USN as a NCO and retired, lived in Washington DC. I keep hoping someone will help fill in the blanks? Ginny

Comments:	Looking for Gaffneys, Michael Gaffney born 1839 in Ireland. His wife Annie Casey was born in County Cork, Ireland. Michael's Father was Thomas and Mother was Ellen. Where do the Gaffneys come from in Ireland??
