i have an interest in the MCABEE family from murray,co. in 1850. i have the census records for william mcabee (carpenter) and family, and edward mcabee (baptist preacher)and family. i descend thru william mcabee born south carolina circa 1810.

RootsWeb is fantastic! I have been able to find vast amounts of information for my genealogy research. I truly appreciate all of your hard work. Now, if I could just find my great grandfather's parents (I'm about to think he was an alien from the planet Mars), and where he was born I will be happy.

Too broad, not specific. If I type in that I need records for an ancestor b. in 1824 who once lived in Murray Co., I don't need the Social Security Index!
