looking for John Garner died around 1838 1839 lived in Stony Point Rockland Co. New York
had a son Frederick Garner born 1830 and was 9 years old when his father died this is all we know at this time
Frederick came to our area in Rockford Winnebago Co. Illinois around 1858 we have a very large flag with 25 stars on it We were told that Frederick broght this flag with him when he came to live in our town we would like to know more about his father if by chance the flag was his and what it represented to the family. We would also like to know more about Frederick"s father and family We do not know who his mother was either. any information any one can give us will be very much appricated. Thank you
