What a great place to share surnames! Suprised there are not more entries! I am searching for information of Albert J. Gibson born in Indiana Dec. of 1835. He married Mary Seaman of Indiana 11-8-1857. They lived in Nebraska from 1859 to sometime after 1862. Then they went to Iowa until sometime after 1884. By 1900 they are listed on the census in Linclon Twp, Dawson Co, NE. I have photos posted on my website, would love to share info!

I have been working on a family tree and if anyone can give me inf. on my Grandfather Will or William Gibson,who was born in Cherokee Co. N. Carolina around 1865. He later abandoned his family around 1915 and I'm told he moved to Alma, Ga, He is now deceased. My Grandmother was Ollie Lovingood.Our family tree would be complete if we could find location of burial and date of death.

Gibson, born c. 1834, Kentucky(possibly Middlesboro). He
also lived in Scott and Lee Counties of Virginia. He was
married twice; first wife from Ft. Worth, Texas. Second wife
was Alafare Barnett, born 1849, Scott County, Va.; she was

I always check out anything concerning GIBSON family. I only wish this was my connection.
Isaiah/Isaac Gibson was born in Orange County, Indiana and fought in the Civil War-I have his military and pension records. But, sadly we know nothing about his parents nor ancestors. His wife was Lucinda Dillinger also of Indiana.
