I love the idea of this page. I am a family tree researcher living 75km. from Melbourne and the Public Records Office. I would like to be able to contact people with information on my ancestor Joseph Harwood who came from Scarborough, Yorkshire between 1849 and 1853 when the goldrushes were beginning.
I realize this is a very tall order but have heard that the ship the "Mary Shepherd" may have been a link.
As you can imagine, Port Phillip was probably wall-wall ships in those days.
