My mother was born in Whigham in 1922. Father-Thomas Jester Cliatt. Mother- Marjorie (Bertha) Hawkins?
Mother name was Evelyn M. Cliatt. Originally the midwife put the name of Mary Lou on the birth certif. That was changed.
Marjorie left Evelyn with her grandmother, grandfather, and Aunt Bertha and went to N.J. for work.
If any one knows anything please let me know. I do know that they had a small farm.

I like this a lot. I am searching for a "Capt." Hawkins who had a
daughter named Elizabeth. She married Robert Long who was born @ 1619 in
England but died @1648 in Barbados. Mr. "Capt." Hawkins would have to
have been born around 1590's (maybe). The "Long" family all settled
on Nantucket, eventually.

I am looking for a Capt. Hawkins, sea farer, who had a daughter named
Elizabeth, who married a Robert Long. Robert was born @ 1619 in england
and died @ 1648 in Barbados. His son, Samuel Long I, came to the US and his
son, Robert Long was born 1669. He was married to Sarah Skiffe on Nantucket,
Mass. etc. Capt. Hawkins is the main culprit here. HELP.
