Web site is very nice. I'm looking for the father and mother of George Clinton Higginbotham. He was born in Wayne County, KY, on Jan. 11, 1854. At the age of 42 (1896) he moved to Mountain Home, AR where he raised his family but have no clues as to whom his parents might be.

Hello my name is Kurt Higginbotham, my fathers name is Gary, and my grandfathers name was Noel. He died in 1942 and that is all I know about my family for sure. I don't have any names of his parents or anything. I am from the Desoto Missouri area. My understanding is Washington county. I have not liveed in MO since I was 2 so I am really not a buff with that area. If you have any info for me would you please let me know. I do know of a large farm that the Family use to own too. I live in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. My father is Robert Franklin Higginbotham (born 1921), son of Ira Francis Higginbotham (born 1880), grandson of William Simpson Higginbotham (born 1848)whose father was John H. Higginbotham (born 1823, died 1893) and Grandfather was Jonathan Higginbotham (born 1790) all living in what is now Putnam Co., WV.
