My grandfather was Lyman P Huff who lived in Cape Porpoise, ME, (died 11/5/81 and buried in Arundel Cemetery, born 3/17/1893 (year?) Was town tax collector, foreman for SACO electric co., and lived on Langsford Road all his married life; Married to Goldie May Perry, b.10/22/93; d. 8/21/93, also buried in Arundel Cemetery. Also buried there are her parents Letitia Ginn Perry & Pharoah Perry; Ruth Huff (abortion), Helen Elizabeth Huff Holmberg, Donald Huff, Emery Huff, Lyman H Huff. Lyman P Huff's parents may be there. I remember they owned a micah mine. His mother was a nurse and think her maiden name was Colbert. Lyman P Huff had 2 brothers: Walter & Hartley of Cape Porpoise, ME. Helen was my mother. My sister, Beverly Ann Holmberg (b. 5/3/49, d. 12/11/09) is buried there. I don't know middle names or dates and birth locations of all of them. Emery was commander of a battleship & graduated from West Point with no demerits. He was married to Mary Foy. Their children were Donald, Janet, & Jonathan. Lived on Langsford Road when he returned from being stationed in England. His brother, Lyman, was married to Louise (Brown?); had a son, Larry Bruce, who died from lead poisoning in his first year of life. Lyman & Louise were godparents to Virginia Bradbury's son, Tommy. Virginia is on the board of Arundel Cemetery. Helen's husband (my father) is William Balmer Holmberg and was buried in Arundel Cemetary in May of 2011. Helen's sister, Dorothy Huff Porter, is still living...in her late 90's. She has 3 daughter's: Connie Porter Scott, Norma Porter Smith, and LeAnn Porter (?married name). They live around Portland, ME. Norma lives in WA state somewhere. Her husband is David Smith who was an Olympic Marksman. They must be in their mid-70's. Dorothy & Paul Porter (deceased) had a son, Richard Paul Porter (deceased--radio fell in shower). This is all I know. I gave all my tree and dates to my oldest daughter, Wendy, whose computer crashed. I don't know where the paper copies are. Maybe my youngest daughter, Penny, has them...I hope. I know years ago, Connie Porter Scott did an extensive search and had paperwork on our family tree. If anyone can be forth-coming on any of this, I would be able to enrich my family's heritage.
