Found a Huggins family in the Colonial Secretarys Index 1788-1825 (Australia - all colonies) they must belong to someone:
Dinah Huggins daughter of Mary HUggins, Jun 10 1815, on passenger list of "Northhampton"
Francis HUggins on list of deaths aboard Northampton 1815 Feb 22
JOhn Huggins, son of Mary, aboard June 10 1815 NOrthampton
Mary HUggins, aboard Northampton JUne 19, 1815
Sarah Huggins, daughter of Mary, ditto
William HUggins son of Mary, ditto

I wonder if FRancis wasn't the father, but then I found this:
next entry,
William HUggins per "Hebe" 1820
1821 on list of convicts Jan 11 disembarked and forwarded to Paramatta for distribution.

I was looking for a dinah who may have married a James Pierce/Pearce. These Huggins must belong to someone out there so hope it's a handy record.

The colonial secretary's index is free and on-line at:
www.records.nsw.gov.au/publications/
and has some great records in it. Often mothers of ancestors turn up as "convict assigned to (father/husband)" at least one of my ancestors came about this way.

anyway, happy huggins hunting and cheers to all,
and if anyone has anything on Alne Bourland - married SArah Jane James nee Huggins in Arkansas in 1860's, let me know, his son FRancis by his first wife Rebecca Cook born TN 1814 is still elusive in records.
