Comments:	My great,great grandfather was Samuel Wells, who resided in Greene County, IL from about l830 until he died. A Beth Thurman is shown as the person researching Surname of Wells. If she connects to Samuel Wells, I'd wish for her to e-mail me. Samuel Wells has a biography in the Greene County Centennial Book, I think of l879, and it mentioned he had 4 wives and I believe 20 children. It further mentiones that his son William L. Wells is in Cherokee Nation===which is now Oklahoma.
