My father is from Washington County.
He is descended from Benjamin Furby's son, Ephraim.
Benjamin moved into Washington County around 1830.
Ephraim Furby married Jeannette Lively Furby, the daughter
of Jesse Lively, the survivor of the "Lively Massacre."
Dad was born 2 miles northeast of the Lively massacre site.
Dad's mother was Louise Telger whose family moved into the county around 1845.
