Comments:	I am looking for my Grandmother's roots.Alice May Elliott (nee Johnstone) dau. of Augustus Satchwell Johnstone, son of James Gardiner Johnstone (ship's surgeon) and Miss Campbell, daughter of Admiral Campbell.(Isle of Islay,fled after duel to South Africa thence to India; married Miss van Renan (descended from Graf van Renan.) I was surfing the Elliot Clan Website and stumbled on this Johnstone site.Alice Johnstone's sister married a Chamier whose son was a House master at Eton College where the Gloucesters were housed. Information sought.
