Nice site I am researching Mortis, Stone, Watson, Barnett, Moman, Baize. All from Hendersoncounty, Ky. or Union county, Ky. Some born in Ind.GGGrandfather was Lee George Washington Mortis, died April 11, 1937 in Sturgis, Ky. Death certificate lists his father as Jack Mortis born in Ind. & his mother Almeta Beal. The info was given by a Mrs. John Shelton from Sturgis, Ky. in May, 1937. Anyone searching this name or IF you have ANY info, please Email me. Thanks

I am trying to find out the whereabouts of descendents of my Great Uncle Sherman Talley. At one time, he was a streetcar motorman, and later Chief Of Police in Henderson, Kentucky. Many years ago, my Grandfather, William David Talley, lost contact with his brother, Sherman, and failed to locate him. Sherman's wife was Inez(not sure of correct spelling), and they had at least two children, a son, Austin Talley, and we believe the daughter's name was Julia. My Dad, Woodrow Talley, turns 86 on October 12th, '99, and I am trying feverishly to find some information out for him. I would appreciate any help, the search has been going, on and off now since 1937. If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it! In Christian Love, Bonnie (Talley) Polston**** bkp77@hotmail.com
