I am 16 years old and just getting into geneology. I do not know a whole lot about my family background. I know that my great-grandfather's name was Orange Ladd but I do not know when he died nor when he was born. I am from Michigan and I know that all of my grandfather's family was born in Michigan. If anyone has any information about an Orange Ladd, Irene Ladd, Marion Ladd, Carl Ladd,Margaret Jones(Ladd), John Ladd or Earl Wendell Ladd from Michigan it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It looks rather confusing compared to what I'm used to. There doesn't seem to be any "specific" instructions, rather rambling to me.
I am in possession of a bound book given to me from my father, Frank Hartwell Ladd. Titled "The Ladd Family"..a genealogical and biographical memoir of the descendants of:
Daniel Ladd of Haverhill, Mass.,
Joseph Ladd of Portsmouth, RI,
John Ladd of Burlington, NJ,
John Ladd of Charles City Co., VA
It was compiled by Warrent Ladd of New Bedford.
Printed for the author by Edmund Anthony & Sons, New Bedford, Mass. in 1890.
It is quite extensive in its cross references, up to and including the birth of my father in Milford, Michigan.
If anyone would be interested, I would be more than happy to share what I can...but unfortunately I cannot let the book go. I also have notes in our family Bible which was published in 1853.

I am really upset < I need to get on the Ladd digging grounds or a Ladd web site and keep getting the message that either the server is down or something is wrong with my browser. Now my browser was just fine last week and i got valuable assistance on the Ladd digging ground. Now when I again need some help I cannot get onto any of the Ladd Webb sites a nd I am steamed.
