Hello,
My name is Phil. I was with THERESA C. GARZA/FREEMAN/STRINGFELLOW/BARBO
for about 6 years. Together we tried to gather info on her family. She was adopted in Natchitoches, La. in 1948 by PEARL STRINGFELLOW GARZA and JOHNNIE MISHEAL GARZA. The Court was unwilling to open the adoption records upon her request. There is also a connection somewhere to the names LEO and FAVORS/FAVERS that I have photos and notes on.
It has been known that the BARBO family were related somehow to the whole adoption issue, as well as the suggestion that DAVIS was the actual fathers name. DAVIS' mothers' real name was BARBO. DAVIS' father was a BARBO, possible "Deely BARBO".
My information and papers are not well organized, but I do have a great deal of data on all of these names. I can list for you what I have, but I suggest that at some point we need to meet and have you actually look at what I have. There are many, many pictures of people and children of these names that I cannot connect myself.
I will list what I can here but as I say, it would be better for you to someday see what I have and perhaps you will recognize the names and faces.
If I have "Nat. La." I am meaning Natchitoches, Louisiana.
