My name is Cindy Larkins Hubbard and have been looking for my Dads side of the family for quite sometime now. I have visited and signed I do not know how many guest books with the hope of finding out something of my Larkins roots.
My dads name was Raymond R. Larkins b. South Bend Indiana on 9-4-1929. His fathers name was Samuel Othan Larkins b.8-3-1897 Woodstock Virgina.Samuel m. Thelma L. Welch in 1922 in South Bend Indiana. His fathers name was John W. Larkinsb. I think in Virgina also. His mothers name was Malinda F. (Mac or Mc)Williams. My grandfather Samuel had brothers and sisters. Robert, Arthur, (dasiy or dasie) was one of his sisters. This is about all I know. No one really ever talked about his side of the family for some reason. I have some pitures that Samuels wife Thelma wrote on the back of when they went to visit his parents home site in Virgina. It would really be great if I can place some names to soem of these faces.
