Of all the sites that I have researched I can say that your site is the most confusing of all to find information. I get depressed when I learn a "cousin" winds up in La.

I am very disappointed in the webpage for Sabine Parish, Louisiana. A few months ago I went up on the Sabine Parish site and found Sabine Parish cemeteries with a list of persons buried there. Now I am unable to find it. Has it been deleted?

Great website! Thanks for all the hard work that has been put into it. I am still looking for Trawick/Traywick and Brandon family descendants from that area. Located in the 1850 Sabine Parish was TRAYWICK: R.G., born in Virginia, Albanis, Robert Jane born in Alabama, also Martha (Traywick probably her married name) born in Alabama and her child Mary born in Louisiana.
---------------------------------------------------------Joel Brandon married Martha Trawick April 2, 1867 in Newton County, TX.

Thank you again for the site. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated.

My name is Judy Johnson, my mother is Cora Carter. I am trying to locate some form of her birth records. I have found out that her birth mother was Ona Lee Edwards. Ona's maiden name was "Mack". After giving birth to my mother, we think on Dec 15 1942, in Fisher, LA my mother was told she was given to a Cora White of Natchitoches, LA to raise.
She lived on Texas Street in Natchitoches. Cora White owned a cafe called Cora's Cafe, run from her home. Cora White was married to Levi White. My mother also said she had a friend of approx the same age by the name of Annette Rawley in Natchitoches. Cora White died around 1954-56. After Cora White died my mother moved to Texas with Roy and Pearl Mitchell. We believe she was in fourth grade at that time.
If anyone has any additional information we would welcome all e-mail.
