Yes, so far I do. The Washington Parish Web Site is very impressive. I am also interested in neighboring parishes. I am in the process of searching for my roots and trying to find records of my birth, adoption (although never legalized) and any other information that is available to help me in this matter. I know I started this life in July of 1940 as a tiny baby at the Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence and was brought to live in Washington Parish where the tried, but failed adoption proceedings probably took place in 1942. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with any information on this matter. Thank you and thanks for RootsWeb.----Cyndia Burak

This page is good... enjoyed all that was available.. but curious to find out where most of the records would be stored...? St. Helena parish or the Amite Louisiana courthouse? My thanks to everyone who had a part in making this page possible...
