I am the seventh generation of Lowrances in America descendended through Johannes and Margaretha Heiliger Lowrance (Lohrentz. This couple came to America ca. 1710, and his will of 1745 spells the name LOWRANCE. Their youngest son, John ( sometimes referred to as John Junr.) is my first born ancester in America. He along with his older brother Alexander removed to Rowan County NC ca. 1756.
