Do you have a William Johnson Pope who lived in Bureau,IL area around 1856? I believe he was married to Elizabeth Ann Orcutt (#1) and Sara Frances Jane Harrington (#2).

William Pope had at least 10 children. One of them being Justus Leonard Pope who married Elnora Alice Lehr around 1877 in Bureau, IL. They had at least 2 children: Forest Pope and Ethel Pope Beckley and possibly Lester Pope. Justus Pope was in the 1880 Dallas, Waukee, IA census. In 1900 he was in the Winnebago City, Fairbult County, MN.

I'm looking for the death date and place of Justus Leonard Pope. Sons of Justus and Elnora Pope were: Forest Pope and Arch Pope whom Elnora lived with him in the 1920 Denver, CO census. Arch was a doctor and died 21 Jan 1921, buried Fairmount Cemetery Denver, CO along with wife Mary and son Kenneth Pope and Russell Pope,and most of the children were born in Falls River, MA. Carylin Tolin Pope died in San Mateo, CA and is buried in Evergreen cemetery in Alameda, CA.

Arch Pope married Mary Dolan and they had 5 children: Arch Edwin Pope, Carylin Tolin Pope, Kenneth Pope, Russell Howard Pope, Jean Pope Harmon Martinez . All but Jean were born in Falls River, MS from 1913 to 1917. Jean was probably born after Arch's death in 1921. Looking for information on all families and especially the burial dates and spots for Justus Pope and Elnora Alice Lehr Pope.

Yes, I like your site very much. I was just wondering about
the information that is entered into the site. My best friend
was born Oct. 2, 1953 and died on Dec. 3, 1976. I looked up
her SSDI and the information recorded her being born Oct. 25.
I was wondering about how accurate your information is.
