Hi, I'm just trying to find some info on my paternal grandfather, Clyde B. McClendon, born in Texas?, 1905. He was one of 13 children. The names of some of his siblings are: (brothers) Rupert, Albert, James Louis & (sisters) Mat, Alma, Eula & Maude. I was told his mother might have been named Ameila and his father John or James.
Clyde married Mary Agnes Yeaman in 1927 and they had a daughter, Bonnie Doreen McClendon. At this time they were living in Long Beach, California.
Anyway, I have enjoyed perusing your website and will continue my search. Thanks!

My Great Grandmother was Susie McLendon who was the daughter of Oscar Kenneth McLendon who was the son of Alexander McLendon in Mississippi. Alexander's father, Daniel, was born in Anson county, NC and moved to Mississippi in the early 1800's. Any connections to others?
