Yes, I like what I see. I'm just getting started with the McGraw family. I really could use some help. My Grandmother was Amma Betta McGraw. She married Pearl Clayton Buckland 6,Sept. 1905. Her parents wre John W. McGraw, born 11 Jan. 1829. Married Elizabeth H. Taylor, born 8 Feb. 1845. They were married 25 Jan.1866. They had 10 Children. My problem is, I am having a hard time finding out who their parents were. Please help.

Henry Ruffner Paine (1832-62) was a student in Berlin 1859-61, and left a three-volume journal of his stay there. Dec.1860-Feb. 1861 he mentions several times a Mr. Magraw of Michigan, in Berlin with wife, a son, and two daughters. The children are all evidently at least in their teens, probably early twenties. Mr. Magraw tells of travel in Sweden and Russia during time of midnight sun.
Paine’s spelling of names is not always accurate. Once he uses the name McGraw, otherwise Magraw.
Before I publish the journal, I would like to identify this family if possible.

My great great grandfather was a James McGraw, married to Sarah Hale. He died in Columbus, KY while serving with Company I, 4th Tennessee Infantry, Confederate Army on September 14, 1861. Other than he was previously married we have very little information on him.

Amber, please change the message about the reprint of "It is McCraw not McGraw" as less than ten responded. Mike Burke,a McCraw descendant, is putting it on a CD with corrections and additions. If anyone is interested,please send me a SASE with McCraw CD marked on front of envelope. Estimated cost is $39.95 at this time. It should be ready sometime this year.
