I am just beginning any serious search of my Meacham ancestry. I have recently come by a box of historical "stuff" and it includes a list (no real info except where their wills were found) of names of my ancestors going back 8 generations (counting me) to Henry Meacham who WAS born in 1684 and died in 1757 as the articles you have had hypothesized. He had a son Henry, Jr. and the descendents listed after that are Banks, Samuel Lewis, Dr. Thomas boyd Meacham and my grandfather, another Samuel Lewis Meacham. My mother,age 87, is still living and doing well. She was Emily Louise Meacham.

One Henry (jr or sr?) had a will found in Sussex Cty, Va. My more recent ancestors lived in North and South Carolina tho' there is one will in Madison Cty, Tenn.

My lineage seems to be one you might be looking for. Let me know and I can give you some more names. I DO NOT have names of siblings of these ancestors, but there is a possibility I might get some info from some distant relatives. Hurry! We're all getting old!!!!
