Hello.
I have not posted a message to this board in a while. As I see the year 2000 was my entry, when I first started out on this project. It has become a wonderful hobby to me. I have met some of the most kind, generous people in this undertaking. I have also met cousins that I never knew excisted that I have learned to really care about. We have shared information on the family with each other. Not only have we learned of the strength and courage of our great grandparents that came from Sweden to Skanee Mi. but we have learned much about our selves. This is what I think is so important. To gather all the information we can for a family tree, to gather the stories and the hardships and the happiness of our family, to pass to future generations of the Londberg's, Lundberg's, Melin's and Brodt's. So if anyone in the future is wondering "who am I" they will be able to get an idea of where they came from. Baraga Historical Society and Skanee Historical Society are working so hard to gather information in their museums to pass to future generations. Also the Baraga courthouse has been so kind and patient with me in looking for documents on my family. They have helped tremendosly.I thank them for being there. If anyone reads this and is interested in the family I would love to hear from them and pass on any information I have.
