My father worked as cook at a lumber camp in Clare County
in the late 1800's or early 1900's. I am seeking information about the lumber camps from that period.
I like this website very much.

Hello, I am a michigan history nut (especially ghost towns), and I have done some reading about the ghost town in Temple. I would like to visit the area, and I was wondering if there are any maps of Temple to help me locate any historic sites. I am also a metal detectorist and wish to search for any relics in that area. Any relics found I would donate to the historical society. Thank you!
