Mathias Schafer b. 1-20-1817 in Langscheid , Germany. He Died 9-2-1874 in Clinton Co , Michigan . Married Katharina Schueller b. 8-2-1822 in Langscheid , Germany . She died 4-26-1906 in Clinton Co , Michigan . They are both buried at St.Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Westphalia , MIchigan . They immigrated to Westphalia in 1854 . I am looking for any information, oldphotos (to copy), newsclippings,
etc., regarding the old TALLMAN ROAD BRIDGE, dismantleded about 1997. It is being
restored and will be re-erected in the Historic Bridge Park between Battle
Creek and Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI. Thanks for any help. E.Davis
