Looking for any information on the Davidson family, who lived in the ares of Gibson, Holcomb Island, Clarkton and Freeborn. Trying to find any descendants of Jonas George or Harvey W. Davidson,Aaron Arthur Davidson, William Henry Davidson, John Benjamin Brown and his wife Martha Ellen (Davidson) Brown, Thomas and Elizabeth Vasha (Wallace) Davidson and others. Also trying to find anyone with any information on the Methodist churches in the area, especially Old Gravel Hill Church, or Old Liberty Church at Caruth. Also looking for the descendants of Robert and Melissa (Davidson) Benson and Joseph and Julianne (Davidson) Thompson, both were daughters of Jonas George Davidson. Does anyone know how I would contact the old Methodist churches in the area for pastoral records? Jonas and Harvey Davidson, were the brothers of my GGgrandfather, Rev. Thomas J. Davidson and they moved to Dunklin County in 1852, to help their brother-in-law Rev. John Henry Wade organize the Methodist churches in the area. ANY information on these families would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank You! Tess/Saint Charles County, Missouri

Hi, I am searching for my mother who was born in Missouri in Nov. of 1938. Her first and middle name was Shirley Jean. Her family had a cotton farm (35 acres). Her father had tuberculosis, leukemia, and asthma. She, her mother, and her 6 siblings had to work the farm. If you have any information that might help me locate her, please email me. Thanks Vicki Rash Born 05-19-1961 NO, Louisiana

I enjoyed looking thru all the cemetery listings for Dunklin County as my grandparents on both sides are buried in Lulu and McGrew, also a lot of other relations. The grandparents are Gentry and Barton

My father Herny H. Waller was born in Glennoville on December 1, 1919. Our family farmed that area around that time. Who would have records for the Glennonville area? Thanks

Can you tell me if there are any hisotric mills accessible to the general public (if on private property, even by appointment) in your county? If so, please send me the name, phone number, e-mail address (if there is one) of a contact for the mill(s).

Sincerely,
