Hi! I am seeking a Sarah A. Mayberry Morehead whose parents were Israel Mayberry and Catherine Haas/Hass of Hampshire County, West Virginia. She was listed on the 1860 Census there at Romney. I have found that she married a James Morehead who was a Physician from Hampshire County. He was killed in the battle of Chancellorsville sometime during the later part of the Civil War. Her parents are my gggrandparents. Her brother was Frank or Francis Mayberry who was living with the Sarah Taylor family on the 1850 Census of Hampshire Co., Va. I found that Sarah age 13 at that time was living with her grandparents Peter & Mary Hass/Haas. She had an older sister names Mary who was age 21 and another brother named Thomas who was age 19 on the 1850 Census and was living with the grandparents also.
