i would like to contact anyone in the Morrissey family who knows details about my immediate relatives who settled in Lower East Pubnico, Nova Scotia. In particular, Captain David Chadsey Morrissey (birthplace,parent's names, etc.
He was married to Lydia Ann Gayton of Argyle, N.S. and they had many children. This group of Morrissey's were involved in fishing for many years. I am most especially trying to link Capt. David Morrissey to his forebears in Ireland--
I am told that he came from Sligo, in the vicinity of Drumcliff or what is now known as Sligo City. Any help
