I grew up in Monroe County, (Just south of Shelby County) in the Paris & Holliday areas. My mother was a teacher/ school Librian at Paris & Holliday until her death in 1996.
Many of my ancestors grew up in the North Monroe/Shelby County area. I would like to hear from any one in the area. Thank you.

Can you tell me if there are any hisotric mills accessible to the general public (if on private property, even by appointment) in your county? If so, please send me the name, phone number, e-mail address (if there is one) of a contact for the mill(s).
Sincerely,
Steve Illum, Ph.D.

I enjoy very much the pictures and the information here. It is nice that so many people are interested in preserving our past and have expended so much of their personal time and resources to share it with others.

I am descended from a Wm Price from Jessamine Co Ky who had children who moved to Missouri Ebenezer or Winfrey Ebenezer is the one I am looking for and his descendants. The names Duncan and Wilhite are probably associated with this Price
