I am in search of information about John Jay JEFFERSON who was born in Marion County, MS, about May 12, 1876. He married Carrie A. NELSON about 1904, and they had a daughter named Jannie C. JEFFERSON, who was born about 1909. I think they also had other children. John Jay was an educator. He left Mississippi and relocated to Arkansas, probably in the 1920s. I think John Jay died in Pine Bluff, Jefferson Co., AR, about 1932.

Any information offered about John Jay or members of his family would be greatly appreciated.
