I would like to know if Joel Bruce Smith still owns property
in Burnsville, NC. The property in question was about 17 miles outside of Burnsville. The property in question was also next to property owned by the deceased Harmon Brackins.
He died about 10 years ago. His wife is Geraldine Brackins and still lives there. I am interested in paying all the back taxes owed on Mr Smith's property, if he still owns it.
The property was up the side of the mountain, and the deed
stated " 3 acres, more or less". Please let me know by email, if the property has any back taxes owed on it and if

My fathers parents were Yancey or yanc Harris and he was married to my grandmother Mary Black of Yancey County, North Carolina. My father died when I was four years old I do not know much about the Harrises or the Blacks of Yancey County.I know my grandmother had a brother named Eath or Eatham Black , married to Bertha Black. My father was Garret Liston Harris and My mother was Mamie Grace Rathburn. I appreciate any help in finding any information about either family. Thanks.
