I have enjoyed your history on Sarpy Co. very much. I have been looking for some of my family who lived there for many years. Both of my grandparents on my mothers side of the family were born in the area of what was called Chalco. I have read that it no longer exists but my greatgrandparents Frederick and Anna Schumann both lived in Gretna or area and are buried in the cemetery between Gretna and Bennington. The tombstones of some of my grandmothers sisters are very old as they died in 1889 and 1895. Two were married and had children who also died when their mothers died and are buried with the mothers.
Out of 7 children 3 lived to adulthood and had families.
My grandmothers name was Dora Schumann she married Henry Roll and they lived there when my mother and aunt were born. They moved to Colorado and had the twins. There are 2 of their children buried in that same cemetery.
The other name I am looking for is John and Mary Koch. I do not have any of the childrens names. If you know of anyone who does geneology and could look up any of this information please have them get in touch with me by e-mail.

I a researching the Daniel Kimball/Sarah Norman family from Indiana to Nebraska. I think Daniel stayed in Indiana, with the children coming to NE, Wisconsis, Minnesota. Childred, Alonzo, Sidney (girl), Charles, and Henson D. So far nothing, except what I submitted.
