Thank you for all the info on your sites. I know it is a tremendous amount of work. Very helpful. I am researching a Conover/ Covenhoven man that was living in Cranbury in September of 1816. He was the father of my gg- grandfather, William Conover. He may have been born in Washington County, PA and married to Anna J. Keer. My gg- grandfather, William , has possible brothers named Ralph/ Ralf/ Rafe R. and Samuel S. Conover. They are born in 1811 and either 1811 or 1812 for Samuel. Ralph R. is married to Ellen Snedeker , daughter of John and Margaret Smock Snedeker, and living in Newark, Essex County, NJ in 1834-1838/39. They have 2 children in NJ , Aaron and Mary Jane , before moving permanently to Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana by 1840. I would appreciate help with a document for this marriage and the documentation on the children. Samuel married Sarah Frances Weeks ( b. NY) in Newark, NJ in 1835. No children noted. Both buried in Rahway cemetery. William marries Anna Catherine Warth, a Swiss immigrant , in 1837 in NJ. They have a son Marcus in NJ before going to Hamilton County, Ohio in 1838/39. Need documentation for these events as well. The men continuously work in the building trades: plasterer, brick mason and blacksmith/ springmaker. Their children, grandsons, sons-in-law and brothers-in-law are working in these trades as well .Thank you all for all the info you have passed to me in recent years. <rreedy@mics.net> <MMER2000@aol.com>

This is a wonderful place! Would like to be able to make some connections that I have worked on for 6-7 years. Any Maple/Mapel's around, please email me! Do not connect with alot of Mapel's already on the eastern seaboard, need to connect and see where they have originated! Would truly like to come across some family histories/biographies, that would be a wonderful find!
