I am doing research on my great grandmother's family. My great grandmother was the oldest of seven children. Her name was Catherine Nolan. She immigrated to the US in 1892. Her father's name was Bartley Nolan and her mother's name was Mary Cribbin. She was born in Bekan, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, Ireland. Her other siblings were: Patrick, Ann, Mary, Michael, Thomas, and Bart. I believe one of the brothers went by the name of Martin, but I'm not sure which one. I know it is not Michael. Catherine's grandparents were Patrick Nolan and Anne Flatley on the paternal side and Patrick Cribbin and Catherine Waldron on the maternal side. I know that Bartley Nolan was born around 1846-1847. He was one of 8 children. Mary Cribbin was one of 6 children, she was the only girl. The rest were boys. Mary was born in 1851. If anyone out there can be of help or knows of a connection. Please email me at gracemw@juno.com Thanks so much!!
