Comments:	I'm desperately trying to find info on my ancestors that lived in Tioga County. They are the children of my great grandfather, Sherman Davenport, they are- Frank Davenport married Jennie unknown,Alinda Davenport m.Otis Van Atta, Arthur V. Davenport m. Elizabeth Taylor, John Sherman Davenport m.Jennie unknown & Edna Eleanor Davenport. These people have been my brick wall. They were born after 1855. Sherman Davenport's parents were: Solomon & Ann Snyder Davenport, they lived & are buried in Halsey Valley,NY. Sherman's daughter (my great grandmother), Harriet Delphine Davenport (1856--1936) and her husband Robert B. Van Luven (1852--1918) lived in Lower Halsey Valley. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated! Teri
