I thoroughly enjoy reading about Knox County and visited the area in 1999. My family ties to the area were
the Blairs, Deakins,Butlers, and Bakers dating from the early 19th century. The Blairs came from Maryland, while the Butlers and Bakers came from Virginia. Hope to make
it down this month to reconnect with the past.
Keep up the good work.

I was born in Knox County (Mt. Vernon) but moved to
California when I was four years old. Just recently
started looking for my bio parents. I sent for an
original Birth Certificate which should be coming soon.
I am very excited about it. Wish me luck bye-ya Sue

Glad to see this site! Although I live in Knox County, all
my family is from Massachusetts but I have a neice and nephew that have Knox County roots so this site will be of value in my research of their father's family tree. Will let
people know about this site
