Need lookup for me on Cora Bell Welch. She was a baby or child when she died in the 1940's. She buried I was told at the Broken Arrow City Cemetery. She had a stone but not broken and we would loved to fix the stone with date of birth and right date of death. Cora parents were Dora Welch, and father was Mitcheal F.(Frances) Welch buried in the same cemetery. Can you help me with all of them. Thanks. Jamie

I am looking for relatives or anyone who might have known the John and Opal Jones family who were in the Sand Springs/Tulsa area in the 1930s. Opal was one of my mother's(Josephine McAllister McGehee)best friends and I have a few snapshots I would like her children or grandchildren to have. We moved to the Little Rock area in 1938 and lost track of them after a few years. There were several children. Some of the names were Roberta and Helen and a boy named Joe. They also had a small boy named Tommy who died of diptheria when he was about fove years old. I think I remember Mother saying we lived on the street car line connecting Sand Springs and Tulsa. If anyone knows the whereabout of any of this family, please contact me or have them contact me. Thank you all so much.

I have enjoyed searching roots web a great deal. I have not located any OIL HISTORY on any site I have been on. Is there any oil history of the Tulsa area in the 1908-1919 time period?
I wonder if there are any sites that have any history of the old one room - 8 grade school houses in the 1920s, even up to the 1950s in some areas of Oklahoma? My Mother and her 2 sisters taught in several around Perry, OK in the 1927-35 time and my Mother taught in one near Morrison in 1950s.
